Lovely Sunny Day

Yesterday the girls and I spent the day with my mum. I really value and enjoy the time I have with my mum, whether it be at her house or going out and about together. Yesterday was the latter, we ventured into our local town and enjoyed visiting a newly opened garden centre and cafe that we had not been to before.

Ruby had a lovely time looking at all the various plants and flowers, and was able to point out the rhubarb as we have recently planted some in our own garden. Ruby's memory constantly amazes me, I wish mine was half as good as hers!

We decided to stay and have a coffee, and were amazed to find that he cafe had a special children's play area that even contained a real guinea pig! Ruby had so much fun playing with all various toys. Her favourite was a ride in car and dressing up as a princess.

We looked around the gift shop and Ruby lent a hand by pushing Lottie in her pushchair.

We bought a card for granddads birthday and Ruby helped to count out the money and paid for it.

I would really recommend the garden centre and if you live local, its worth a visit. More details can be found here. It really was a lovely place to take Ruby, especially as she was able to play whilst I sat down to habe a drink. I could definately see it growing in popularity with mums and children.

We then headed down to the park in the town to have some more fun; its well worth a visit, as you can see from the photos both Ruby and Lottie loved it!
